Welcome

Welcome to my website, which explains how I work. My name is Jo Bailey, offering psychotherapy and clinical supervision. I am based in South Derbyshire, with easy access to Derby City, Staffs and Nottingham.

I am an experienced practitioner, having helped people from various backgrounds and lifestyles with a variety of difficulties, from complex trauma to depression and anxiety, to feeling like life is unfulfilling, for instance.

I work with adults individually.

I am registered with UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy); having trained for five years in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling at The Sherwood Institute in Nottingham. I have worked in my private practice since 2011 and have previous experience of counselling in voluntary organisations such as Barnardos and Derby Women’s Centre; along with working in severe mental health. I also offer counselling to people through insurance company and BUPA referrals.
